About RIDEST
RIDEST stands for Rider Infrastructure, Driver Education, and State Tourism.
RIDEST exists to make New Mexico biker-friendly and biker-safe—not by adding more rules, but by making the ones we already have fair, realistic, and grounded in real outcomes.
Motorcyclists share the same roads, obey the same laws, and accept the same risks as other drivers, yet when crashes occur, riders often face catastrophic injuries, inadequate insurance coverage, and systems that fail to reflect the true cost of harm.
RIDEST is a statewide initiative focused on:
fair liability standards when motorists injure riders
accountability and evidence-based safety policy
improved rider awareness and training
support for injured motorcyclists
and responsible motorcycle tourism across New Mexico
This initiative is being built deliberately, transparently, and with a long-term vision. It is not a short-term campaign. It is a commitment to fairness, safety, and freedom on New Mexico’s roads.
Biker-friendly. Biker-safe. New Mexico.
About the Founder
RIDEST was initiated by a New Mexico rider following a serious motorcycle crash that exposed deep gaps in insurance, accountability, and rider safety policy.
The initiative is currently founder-led and independently funded, with plans to grow responsibly as public support builds.
